Rules of Engagement
Failure to comply by these rules can lead to resource / loot deletion, afflicted party grid restoration, and / or ban at staff discretion
Punishments for Breaking PVP Rules are as follows:
▢ 1st Offense A logged Warning and/or Kick from the Server (10 minute Ban)
▢ 2nd Offense A 24 Hour Ban from the Server
▢ 3rd Offense An appealable Ban from the Server
General Rules
- All Server Rules apply while participating in PVP.
- PVP Gameplay is not an excuse to be disrespectful or otherwise “Toxic”
- PVP activities are expressly forbidden in PVE Sectors
- It is against the server rules to abuse the hangar system to hide loot/grids
- i.e Hangaring your grid when an enemy approaches or after a battle to prevent looting
- i.e Keeping all your resources in an Elite Container and hangaring/unhangaring every time you go online/offline
- Malicious Faction Actions are not allowed
- Attacking a faction you are allied to without declaring war
- Joining a faction to plant coordinates, steal information, or some other malicious action.
- Broadcasting coordinates if you leave/are removed from a faction
Raiding and Attacking
- If you do raid other players, you must have a base somewhere on the server which can, theoretically, be counter-raided
- Attacking the same player and/or faction over and over again is considered griefing.
- If you are planning a faction raid/attack you must coordinate the attack. Consecutive attacks in succession are not allowed.
- Please allow at least 8 Days in between sequential raids to allow factions to relocate or rebuild (unless both factions agree to Total War)
- King of the Hill (KoTH) and Conquest Zones are exempt from these rules
- “Cheese” Raiding tactics are not allowed. These ruin the experience for other players and yourself.
- Abusing the re-spawn system to continuously scout planets and moons to find players is not allowed.
- Drilling/Tunneling to get around defenses on Asteroid/Planetary Bases is not allowed.
- Personal Antenna must be turned on if “hydromanning” an enemy grid
- Declarations of surrender must be accepted when raiding another player
- If a player/faction declares surrender it may NOT be withdrawn once accepted
- Once surrender is accepted you may board and loot resources but must leave the grid intact with an operable Medbay
- A conquering faction/player may NOT leave behind traps, hidden spawn points, or other methods to gain an edge in future raids.
Building and Grid Design
- Malicious use of Programmable Blocks
- A player may not use scripts that are designed to track, disable, allow spawning, or otherwise act as “trojan” scripts on opposing player's grids
- A player may not use scripts that will knowingly cause client side crashes for players who run the code
- Scripts that are decided to be intentionally malicious will result in an instant, appealable, ban from the server.
- Do not purposefully create lag machines to slow down the server or to gain an advantage in combat
- This includes, but is not limited to, designing/utilizing grids that are excessively intense on the server or individual clients in order to slow down sim speed
- Do not use methods to work around Block Limits
- This includes, but is not limited to:
- Using Timer Blocks to enable disabled blocks
- Using Connectors to connect multiple combat grids
- Creating separate factions to work around Faction Block Limits
- Do not use building exploits to gain an advantage in combat
- This includes, but is not limited to:
- Shield Layering (Keeping multiple grids in close proximity with the explicit purpose of cheesing the defense shield mod as the shields will “stack” to create a mega shield)
- Using Connectors to amp up the Health Points of Shields via multiple power sources
- Purposefully jumping ships into combat to act as dummy targets for WeaponCore to track
King of the Hill (KoTH)
- Static Defense Layering is NOT allowed in KoTH Zones.
- Keeping multiple grids in close proximity with the explicit purpose of cheesing the blocklimits for weapons to create uber defenses in KoTH zones.
- Bait Bases are not subject to the “Raiding and Attacking” rules
- A “Bait Base” is a player owned base that is installed within the general render range of KoTH. The purpose of these bases are generally intended to lure PVP ships in for a Static v Non-Static Fight.
- It is reasonably understood that bases within render range of KoTH (25KM) are high value targets and the owner/faction has every intention of being discovered.
- Drones are NOT allowed within KoTH Zones.
- Non-Player Controlled Grids are not allowed within the KoTH Zones.

Player Made Weapons (PMW)
- Missiles / Torpedos
- PMW Missiles are disposable self-propelled impact/explosive devices controlled via script or remote control
- PMW Missiles must not be renamed and left at small grid, or large grid
- No Lotus style missiles
- No “Nuke” Style missiles
- This includes, but is not limited to, using cargo containers or loose components to amplify explostions
